CALIFORNIA: Seaport Village

Follow my blog with Bloglovin Seaport Village  It is located in walking distance from the San Diego Convention Center and the cruise ship terminal. Seaport Village is a waterfront shopping and dining complex adjacent to San Diego Bay in downtown San Diego, California. It has more than 70 shops, galleries, and eateries on 90,000 square feet of waterfront property. The Village contains several freestanding buildings in an assortment of architectural styles, from Victorian to traditional Mexican.  Seaport Village offers a free shopping shuttle for day visitation cruise ships. Shuttle picks up at the cruise ship terminal and drops off on Harbor Drive in front of The Headquarters at Seaport. Shuttle runs every 15 minutes from 9:30am-4pm. It is designed to be a car-free environment, with 4 miles (6 km) of winding paths rather than streets connecting the various buildings. CALIFORNIA: Palm Springs

Follow my blog with Bloglovin Palm Springs Palm Springs is the 10th-largest California city by land area. It is known for its hot springs, stylish hotels, golf courses and spas, museums, outdoor events and famous sights. There are  many fine examples of midcentury-modern architecture.  Palm Springs is a popular weekend destination on the west coast. The surrounding Coachella Valley offers hiking, biking and horseback riding trails. And you can include Palm Springs Windmill Tours, The Palm Springs Art Museum and Palm Springs Aerial Tramway  in your itinerary. The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway are the world’s largest rotating tramcar (rotating slowly). It takes 10-minute long (2.5 mile ride).
